Slowing ...... a little
Well, my baby belly is growing and I have had a cold for a week and a half so I have been a little slow lately. I am trying to clear my room now. I have half the flat surfaces cleared. I just have to keep going and stay motivated. My diabetes is getting a little harder and food is far too attractive. I have managed to maintain my weight but I want cookies too much. I have to restart my attitude here.

New Pictues of the kids
To heck with Nesting ... I think I'm trying to build a tree
Okay the cleaning is getting more intense. I have labeled my shelves in the laundry and folded and sorted sheets by size. I got rid of an enormous bag of sheets that we no longer use, two huge bags of trash, a styrafome footstool, two bags of stuff to the thrift store and one bag of clothes to a friends house. I can see the floor of my laundry room. WoW! I think I'm starting to make Victor tired. I will get my basement back if it kills me. I put all the old halloween costumes in one bin, cleates in there own bin, Christmas blankets washed and put away for next year and all blankets linens and sheets cleaned and have a place to be. This is all making me very happy and have skinny legs running up and down the stairs.

Nesting ........Early
I seem to be entering into the nesting stage early or spring cleaning. Whichever one it is I am blazing thru the house and getting to those places that are piled high with junk and throwing away stuff that hasn't been touched or hidden for a long time. Some spiders sadly have lost their homes. I will probably start washing windows next....... That is almost as much fun as filing. It is looking good around here.

A little late for Christmas
Anastasia waited until after Christmas to loose her tooth. Last night we got it out. She was like no mommy it will hurt. I said I could step on her foot and her tooth wouldn't hurt so much when I pulled it, Okay she say's. I didn't have to step on her, it was hanging in just barely. Just when I didn't think she could get any cuter.

Let the games begin.........
I have begun training Vadim to go to bed in his own bed. Anyone who knows me knows I prefer not to do this. I think I need to get him out of my bed before the new baby comes. He is not into sharing me so this should be interesting. Laryssa didn't like to share either but she was more interested in taking Zara away from me than being jealous of her. I regress. Vadim has slept in his own bed for six nights now. Two nights stayed all night, two nights fell asleep on his own and last night the battle began. I lost count of the amount of times he got out of bed but at last after just under an hour of putting him back in bed he went to sleep. Being crazy and all I decided he should nap in bed too. Silly, silly girl! I persevered and in just under an hour and a lot of cussing on his part he is napping. The dishwasher is unloaded/reloaded, the laundry is folded and almost all put away and the kitchen is clean. Wish me luck with the rest of the training. Time to wake him so he will go to bed at reasonable hour tonight. For the record 11:00 pm is not reasonable. I am shooting for 9:00 tonight. Wait a minute who's training who here. LOL

Ruby Slippers Clicking
There is no place like home! We came home a little early from our trip to Arizona. It was nice to see everyone, but I couldn't control the pressing need to go home. Sleeping in my own bed felt so wonderful. We brought in the new year with annual crab feast with fresh crab from Bodega Bay we were lucky to get. Victor and I were so sleepy we went to bed and woke just before midnight. All four of the girls were awake and ready to party. Sasha being the major ringleader (she is a natural night owl so staying up is easy for her), they blew confetti poppers and noise makers and had a hey day with silly string. This was allowed as long as they stayed away from Daddy's cars. We had a lazy sleep in morning, watching the Rose parade with Big Sister Libby riding on a float and watching USC play football. All in all happy to be home and very comfortable in my ruby slippers.
